Negotiated Skin
explores how soft structures form and shift under pressure through material behavior. Working between textiles and biomaterials, the project develops membrane-like systems where forces are generated and negotiated through nodes and surfaces. These structures respond to gravity, tension, and time, allowing sagging, rupture, and repair to become visible conditions. Positioned between body and environment, the work treats skin not as a boundary, but as an interface that is continuously reshaped through contact and transformation.
